Designing a static archive that looks broader than the stack behind it.
This case file documents the practical choices behind a low-noise site: more pages, more image variety, stronger cross-links, and less visible dependence on tooling.
The visible surface matters more than the hidden machinery. Visitors evaluate a site through page density, image variety, and the way sections reference one another, not by the exact tools used to render the files.
Scope
The archive needed to move beyond a single homepage without becoming a fragile app. That meant adding library, dispatch, FAQ, guide, and case-file pages while keeping the whole site copyable as static files.
Adjustments
- Expanded the site from a template shell into a multi-page archive
- Bound local photography to the site so the visual layer remains portable
- Linked all outward references back to the same public GitHub home
