Four inches, by Portland standards, is a crisis and a holiday at the same time. Schools closed, offices went remote, buses stopped. The neighborhood was quieter than Christmas morning.
I walked around twice, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. The photos are phone photos; the snow was still coming down and I wasn’t going to risk a camera. The iPhone did fine. It had to.
Melted off by Tuesday. Was nice while it lasted.
