Rode out of Newberg with a friend, looped south-ish through the valley, came back tired. The X100V fits in my frame bag well enough that I’ll stop for photos in a way I never do when I only have my phone.

The route isn’t worth posting — half of it was improvisation around a detour — but the takeaway was: September in Oregon, when it’s dry enough to ride but the leaves have started turning, is as close to a perfect week as this place gets.

Back to the car by 4, pizza by 5, asleep by 9:30.
