Down in SF for a conference, slipped out after the keynote, caught BART over. Two hours to kill, a camera, good light.

I don’t shoot strangers often. I’m not fast enough with it and I usually feel awkward. But the Mission has that thing where everyone is already doing something interesting on their own terms, and you’re not really intruding by just… being there with a camera around your neck. I shot most of these zone-focused at f/5.6, hyperfocal-ish, which kept me from hesitating.

Back to the hotel by dinner. The conference talk the next morning was fine. This was the better afternoon.
